Understanding Your Trip Pricing: Bundled vs Line-item

Thank you for trusting me with your travel plans. My goal is to curate a seamless, high-value experience tailored specifically to you. To provide the highest level of personalized research, advocacy, and management, I primarily utilize a "Bundled Pricing" model for my customized vacation packages.

The "Bundled" Approach (The Default)
Instead of a line-item breakdown of every individual component, such as specific transfer costs or nightly hotel rates, you will receive a single, comprehensive price for your entire itinerary. This approach ensures I can deliver the highest value while maintaining the integrity of the premium experiences I build for you.
This model is necessary because my partnerships with premier global suppliers often grant me access to exclusive "contracted" or "wholesale" rates. These rates are deeply discounted on the legal condition that they remain confidential and are bundled into a package.
Beyond the logistics, my expertise lies in creating a seamless flow to your trip. Like how the private guide meets you at the airport, or how your accommodations align with your interests. My job is to make sure every logistical detail makes sense so you don't need to think about it.
While this method can be less expensive than the line-item option, you can also pay a premium to get exclusive access to unique and hard to access services and tours.
Optional Line-Item Breakdown Service
However, the bundled way is not everyone's cup of tea. I know that some travelers prefer a more granular view of their investment. While my standard packages are bundled, I can offer a Line-Item Breakdown upon request. However, this will need to be requested early in the planning process as it will require me to work in an entirely different way vs the "bundled" option.
Providing a full breakdown requires significant additional administrative labor to separate individual components and negotiate separate rates. Because of this extra work, a supplemental transparency fee starting at $250 will be applied, depending on the complexity of your trip.
Interestingly, the process of itemizing can often lead to lower overall trip costs even after considering the extra fee involved. By reviewing each component individually, I can occasionally identify specific areas where a "standard" rate might be more cost-effective than a "contracted" bundle. This ensures every dollar of your budget is working as hard as possible for you.
There are disadvantages of this method since some suppliers that I work with will absoulutely not accommodate the breakdown of their services. I may be able to get a cost breakdown by travel category (i.e. hotels, tours/transfers, airfare) but many don't even offer that. That means I lose access to certain benefits like a highly qualified and vetted private guide in Japan or being able to connect you with your personal concierge while you are on your trip.
Then again, the benefits for you might outweigh these disadvantages. Some of my Virtuoso upgrades and perks are only available when I book the hotel directly so if this is what you need, please let me know as soon as possible in the planning process.
In Conclusion
My goal is to be more than just a travel advisor; I want to be your long-term partner in exploring the world. By handling the complexities of the planning process, I allow you to focus on the anticipation and the joy of the journey itself.
I am truly honored to help you create these unforgettable memories, and I look forward to building a travel history with you that reflects your unique tastes and passions for years to come.
